It’s coming…

It’s now official; The King’s Daughters finally has a definite release date. Night Shade Books posted the announcement on their site. The second book in the Prince Amir Mystery series will hit the shelves April 5, 2009. Needless to say, I am over the moon! You can check up their entire 2009 release schedule here.

Oscar night

Every year, my friend Judith and I host a small get-together on Oscar night…nothing too fancy (drinks, finger food, and a big screen). In preparation for the event, we try our best to see as many nominated movies as possible—not always easy when you live in a Northern city. Independent films are often ignored by our Cineplex. Anyway, today we’re going to see Slumdog Millionaire. I hope it's as good as they're saying.

Small victory

I’ve just completed my first round of revisions on my UF this morning. (I was up at 2:30—couldn’t sleep, so I worked.) Yawn! I’m taking the rest of the day off as a reward. I’ll start round two tomorrow.
