I must say, I don’t make as much conserves as I used to. Pickled beets are delicious by the way; they have a very sweet taste. I also love, LOVE pumpkin jam and was tempted to make some this week. My husband said that if I made some he would eat it, but he would not like it. :/ Made me reconsider the whole thing.Nathalie Mallethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04363901322451666872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1259653378291264667.post-79614385609913256922009-10-19T08:11:36.646-07:002009-10-19T08:11:36.646-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Nathalie Mallethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04363901322451666872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1259653378291264667.post-22706366117150796142009-10-18T09:48:19.603-07:002009-10-18T09:48:19.603-07:00Pickled beets? I admit I've been tempted by the Dark Side, usually around August when all the fruit and veggies come in at once, and it starts to feel like you're LIVING in the kitchen. :)

I'm glad you remember me.Chicorynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1259653378291264667.post-75498365471088695342009-10-16T06:05:30.206-07:002009-10-16T06:05:30.206-07:00Of course I remember you, Chicory. My parents grow organic vegetables and fruits, so the farm is strong in my family. ;)

Good luck with the canning. I pickled beets the other day--what a mess!Nathalie Mallethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04363901322451666872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1259653378291264667.post-8903106822994281082009-10-14T19:46:36.540-07:002009-10-14T19:46:36.540-07:00Hi. I don't know if you remember me, but I semi-met you once before, on Tia's Fantasy Debut page.

The video is hilarious. I just spent the day canning apple pie filling with my mother, so it was especially appropriate. :)Chicorynoreply@blogger.com
