The rapier is Amir’s weapon of choice. It is a slender, single-handed sword used mainly for thrusting attacks in duels.

You can tell that the one at ARMA wasn't staged. That was really cool to see. It makes you realize just how staged the fights you see at the movies are. I should catch one of those Renn festivals; I have not been to one in years.

I thought it would be fun to show the difference between the two. Also, I really like the fact that the second fight is done by women. I absolutely love to watch sword fights. I’m very lucky to live near the park where the local UNBC Medieval Fighting Club goes to practice, so I get to watch them go at it on a regular basis.
