I think they are just a little weird.
Aren't you suppose to be a fantasy writer Mallet? Where's your imagination? I think it's a beautiful creature.
Weird doesn’t mean ugly. It means strange, odd, unusual, or even supernatural. And although I agree with you that it is a striking creature, it is also a rather peculiar one.
Been an person with albinism (albino for myself), the term weird is kind of offensive, unusual exotic surreal quite cute those Albino Dolphin are.
