Copies have arrived

These copies arrived two days ago and have stayed together only long enough to take this picture. Already half of them have been shipped to reviewers. And more should leave next week. I’m feeling very lucky right now that all those people want to read my book. Seriously. My cheeks hurt from grinning so much.

You won’t believe it, but it cost me more ($10.23) to send a parcel across Canada via ground than to send an identical parcel to the US ($6.70) through Air Mail. Hmmm, something’s wrong here! :/

Hi Nathalie
I finally received mine this afternoon. However, my son has taken over. So I am in line for tomorrow afternoon (keeping fingers crossed).

Wonderful! I’m so glad to hear that you finally got it...well, briefly anyway. This time, however, the wait won't be as long. ;)

Hi Nathalie
I loved the book and can't wait for the next one. Just one minor complaint: when visiting Isabo in the jail, you mentioned the bowl with teardrops twice which unfortunately solved the mystery for me. Now I am a long time mystery buff, so this may not be a big problem for others, and to tell you the truth I had my doubts from the start (someone too good to be true often is not). Nevertheless, I just wish that added focus on the bowl was not there.

Finally! I read "Princes" early last year (not expecting much, to tell the truth), and absolutely loved it. I was really blown away at just how much fun the book was. I've been eagerly awaiting the sequel, but was starting to despair that it might never get printed. Now I'll have to go out and pick it up on my next trip to the bookstore. Hope Night Shade's troubles are over, so we can get more of your work, in a more timely fashion ;).

Thanks for the feedback and advice, A. Saffar. I really do appreciate it and will keep it in mind. I’m happy you enjoyed the story nonetheless! :)

Hi Myshkin,

Thank you for dropping by and commenting. :) Glad to know that you loved THE PRINCES, and I hope you’ll enjoy THE KING’S just as much. And things seem to be back to normal at Night Shade Books, which makes me happy!
